Each of the powerballs you are playing is assigned a letter: A, B, C, etc. Your powerballs are assigned to your tickets using the Powerball Pattern. For example, you are playing powerballs 22, 8, 14. The pattern ABACAB will assign powerballs to your tickets like: 22(A), 8(B), 22(A), 14(C), 22(A), 8(B) and repeat if there are more tickets.
